Testimonials

If you’re wondering how effective our coaching can be, here are some success stories from current and former athletes:

AJ Wilard: Height- 6’0″ Start Weight- 260lbs End Weight- 225lbs School: Albright University/Susquehanna University Sport: Football Position: Offensive/Defensive Lineman

“I started working with Austin in the spring semester of my freshman year of college at Albright University. In my tenure there I was a 270 lbs offensive lineman and got very little playing time during my first season. I was unhappy because I didn’t really enjoy the position and didn’t enjoy school all that much. Albright wasn’t the best fit for me. Midway through the spring semester I decided I would transfer to Susquehanna in hopes for more playing time and an overall better experience for me at school. I wanted to change my position to defensive line as well, I knew I was athletic enough to be a pass rusher but I wasn’t confident if I would be fast enough. When I began working with Austin, I was already strong so our goal going in was to maintain my strength while cutting as much body fat as possible and gaining speed. In 8 weeks I had cut from 260 lbs to 230 lbs and maintained my strength in the Bench Press, as well as gained strength in the Squat and Clean. I was also considerably faster and improved my vertical jump. The following semester as a transfer walk on at Susquehanna I was in the rotation as a defensive lineman and was a starter my junior and senior year. Since working with Austin he has given me multiple programs in which I’ve seen results from. During my transformation he was with me every step of the way and was easy to contact if I had questions. If you are an athlete looking to gain muscle mass, lose body fat, and gain strength and speed I recommend you reach out to Austin.”

Vince Montone- Height- 6’1″ Start Weight- 221 lbs End Weight- 199 lbs College- Keystone College Sport- Baseball Position- First Base

“This was an experience of a lifetime! Austin helped me achieve something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and something I couldn’t figure out on my own. He’s there every step of the way and helps guide you through everything. He knows everything there is to know about nutrition and fitness and without him I wouldn’t have been able to do what I did. If you want to get in shape but also want to enjoy the process and have fun, hit this guy up he is a wizard!”

Johnny Knox: Height- 5’9″ Weight- 155 lbs Sport- Baseball College- Nichols College

Johnny’s 60 yard dash was 7.36 prior to training with us. After one 8 week program Johnny was able to run a 6.94 60 yard dash. “I think the program helped me most with being able to get a more explosive start when I run. A lot of the drills helped me get better jumps in games and the exercises just helped me get stronger overall.”

RaQuez Martin- Height- 5’7″ Start Weight- 198lbs End Weight- 190lbs Sport- Football Position- Running Back

RaQuez reached out to us via email in May 2020. Our goal was to improve his 40 yard dash as well as improve his body composition. After a period of 28 weeks we gradually got his bodyweight down to 185 lbs and took his 40 yard dash from 4.90 to 4.61 and consistent in the mid to high 4.6s. Since we have reversed his bodyweight back up to 190 lbs while maintaining his speed. We are excited to keep watching RaQuez progress and continue to get faster.

Chris Guarente: 6’1″ 175 lbs Sport- Baseball College- County College of Morris

“After working with Jeremy for two years, I saw my ability to steal bases improve and my jumps have been crazy. I am making plays in the outfield now that my coach even told me seemed impossible to make. Overall I had an awesome experience and was happy with the work I put in.” Click here to see Chris’ PR in his 10 yard sprint and Broad Jump.

Nick Dargel- Sport- Baseball/Hockey School- West Morris Central (Freshman)

We worked with Nick for 8 weeks and took his 10 yard sprint from 1.95 to 1.71 and his Broad Jump went from 7′ to 7’3″ He noted both increases in his performance in both his speed on the ice and the baseball field as well as his power in shooting and hitting. Adam Riley: Height- 5’10” Start Weight- 180lbs End Weight- 155lbs Sport – MMA

“When I started training for my first Amateur fight, Austin helped consult me with nutrition and conditioning to make weight. Throughout my prep he helped me get into at the time the best shape of my life. I can tell you first hand that Austin is passionate about helping his athletes and making sure they get the most out of their training. You can not go wrong if you decide to use his service. Tim Sweeney: Height- 5’9″ Start Weight- 155lbs End Weight- 180lbs Sport- Natural Bodybuilding

“Austin is a very close friend of mine and training partner. Knowing of his passion for helping athletes, I asked him to help coach my nutrition after I had suffered some weight loss after having mononucleosis for a period of 6 months. Austin came up with a plan and gave me guidelines to follow for my nutrition. Over the course of 20 weeks Austin helped me add 20 lbs of bodyweight with the majority being lean muscle mass (Our goal was to add a pound per week to minimize fat gain). I can confidently say that I am not only the most muscular I have been in my entire life, but also my strength in most of my major training lifts, Squat, Bench Press, Over Head Press, are the strongest they’ve been. Austin was there for me and helped me step by step through this process and made it easy. I cannot wait to begin a cutting diet to see how shredded I can get with Austin’s guidance. Take it first hand from someone who has known him for a long period of time, Austin is passionate about helping athletes achieve their goals and I know he can help you achieve yours.”

Kyle Neuschatz: Height- 5’11” Start Weight- 175lbs End Weight- 185lbs College- Susquehanna University Sport- Football Position- Halfback

“When I first started training with Austin, I was a very raw athlete. I was coming off an injury and wanted to gain my strength back as well as add some lean muscle mass on my frame. Austin gave me an 8 week program that did just that. Not only was I stronger in my lifts, my form had also improved a lot from the advice and help Austin gave me. After this program I had also gained about 10 lbs which was mostly lean mass. Since I started training with Austin, he has given me multiple programs which work and suit my needs. He is very easy to work with and is always willing to help!”

Connor O’Hanlon- Height- 5’11” Weight Class- 205lbs College- Penn State Sport- Powerlifting

“After I stopped playing football in high school I was big into going to the gym, and although I didn’t play sports any more I was still an athlete at heart. Austin introduced me to powerlifting. He showed me what proper competition form was and gave me my first powerlifting program which lead to me doing an 8 week training cycle with his programming. That year I put a little less than 100 lbs on my squat and competed in powerlifting for the first time. Since then I have found tremendous passion for the sport of powerlifting and have made a ton of progress having Squatted 551, Bench Pressed 368 and Deadlifted 590 all in competition. Huge thanks to Austin for helping me get started!”

Austin DeCotiis- Height- 5’11” Start Weight- 220 lbs End Weight- 160 lbs Sport- Baseball/Basketball/Powerlifting

As founder of Aktive Athletes I was skeptical about making myself a testimonial, I personally don’t like to talk myself up. However I want to show you that I practice what I preach and I am good at it. As someone who is passionate about training athletes, I feel it is important to for me to train and continue to work hard and get better. In my fitness/athletic journey I have accomplished many things I one day believed wouldn’t be possible for me to do. These things include making my college baseball team as a walk on, dunking a basketball, cutting 4 tenths off of my forty yard dash time, Squatting 2.25 times body weight, bench pressing 300 lbs, deadlifting 565 lbs, and losing over 60 lbs of essentially body fat. For some, I understand these things may not be impressive, but I am proud of the progress I have made since I have started and continue to reach goals I set for myself. I work hard and expect nothing less from my athletes. I promise if you choose to work with me I will help you as much as I can and give you all the guidance needed to get to where you want to be. Lets get to work!
